Authorizations are charges we make to your financial institution to verify that the payment information you submitted to us is correct. These authorizations are temporary holds and are never collected. The temporary hold will automatically be removed from your account after a few days. The number of days can vary depending on the region or card issuer. Check with your financial institution for details on how long it takes for them to remove the temporary hold.
You may see these authorizations if you recently signed up, edited your payment info or made changes to your subscription. You may also see an authorization if you were unable to sign up, this will happen when you enter your billing information, but that information does not match the billing information your financial institution has on record.
